| My first reaction is that this is some kind of scam. Assuming it's not, here's the path I took to get to my TT: I bought a '90 NA new after being married for only 6 months and not owning a house (we rented). I wanted to get a TT, but being 24 years old at the time, insurance would have killed me financially (clean record, but this is CA we're talking about); being married helped somewhat but it wasn't enough. I "settled" for the NA and enjoyed it to no end. The only stipulation about having the car was that if we started a family, the Z would have to go since my wife was going to stay at home and not work outside the house. Two years later, my wife got pregnant and I followed through on my commitment to sell the Z. (I still wonder if it's running around somewhere in SoCal or if it got junked). I took comfort thinking that some day I would get a TT when things balanced out financially and family-wise. In 2000, I got the bug to start looking for a TT and within 5 weeks I found the car that I eventually bought. I wasn't Z-less between '93 and '00, but my '71 240 rolling restoration project had languished in the meantime, so getting a TT was the "fix" I needed. The point I'm getting to is this: Kenny and the others that are telling you to keep the car have a good point. While a TT is a fun car, you already have a great Z32 that is, for the most part, reliable. Staying with the devil you know vs. an unknown is definitely in your favor IMHO. You have plenty of time after college to purchase and enjoy a TT. Perhaps you'll be in a financial position to keep your 2+2 and buy a TT to park next to it :-) You never know. But stay focused on the goal of graduation college and landing a secure job. Then work a TT into the plan. Good luck with your decision. Dave N.
